Mr. Phair is currently the Director of Community Relationsat the University of Alberta. Previously, he was a long-standing member of Edmonton’s City Council representing Ward 4 from 1992-2007. Mr. Phair is also a founding member of The AIDS Network of Edmonton (now HIV Edmonton), member of Edmonton’s Pride Committee, and a member of the Institute for Sexual Minority Studies and Services’ Community Advisory Board. Mr. Phair was trained as an educator and holds two master’s degrees.
